Wardrobe Essentials

Some things a wardrobe can’t do without. The wardrobe essentials make up the basics of a wardrobe and no matter your style; they are must haves. Staple pieces need to be versatile: go with all colours, pattern less, unable to out date and most importantly they need to be of a good quality.

Black, white and grey t-shirt
I like to have a short sleeve, long sleeve and vest in all of these colours. However these tops because unbearable very quickly, especially white, going cheap on these is the best idea. I usually pick mine up from Primark for about £2.50. I like to keep all my tops slim fit but I will have one short sleeve top baggy as it’s perfect for a grunge style.

White and black shirt
Both shirts will be perfect for formal, fitted properly you can have them tucked in or left out. These will go with almost anything and are worth paying money for.

Jeans
Skinny jeans are worth the money if they are comfortable and flattering. I like to get my jeans from H&M, reasonable price and comfort fit. A black pair, dark denim and light denim are my personal must haves.

Leggings
Leggings are my go-to I have more pairs that I can count. I find leggings rip and stain as easy as t-shirts so I like to buy mine from Primark’s for £3 although I have to go up 2 sizes for them to fit.

Coloured pants
Whether its coloured jeans or coloured leggings have some colour can really make you stand out. I stick to dark red and dark green.

Black pencil skirt
Having one of these around is handy for interviews or super formal occasions. Paired with that white shirt is perfect for interview or work.

Skater skirt
In the summer my skater skirt is my best friend; you can get these in any colour or pattern and can be dressed up or down.

Leather and denim jacket
These are perfect to dress down a dress or grunge up and everyday look. This is where I like to splash my cash because I good jacket will last years.

Cardigan and jumpers

A thin knit is good for all year or thick knit for winter either way sticking to neutral colours will ensure you can be warm with any outfit.
